Our Video Resurrection Coming Soon!
Just when you thought you’d heard the last of us, we decide to show our faces again. This time, in the form of a rather extravagant undertaking, if we do say so ourselves. Yes, after being so criminally dormant for the past few… half a year, actually, the members of PfO have picked themselves up by the bootstraps in order to write, perform and produce an all-new video!
Released as multiple episodes (much like our Summer Video Diary from 2005), PfO.com is proud to announce the first-time event of including ALL FOUR FOUNDING MEMBERS in the project! Yes, we’ve bowed to the fact that this might be the last opportunity to work as an entire group and have so taken up the initiative to travel to Colorado (new scenery!) in order to film the series.
But just what will the series be about, you ask? A flimsy excuse to play dress-up and act silly in front of the camera, of course! Only this time the excuse is in the form of a multiple-chapter road trip movie. Tentatively called This is Not the Autobahn, the movie will follow Griff Bitter and Zoe Bishop, two teens traveling to see the well-known locale and tourist trap of Potato Rock. Several instances of car trouble and geographical ignorance later, the pair soon find themselves unwittingly thrust into a small town where the inhabitants are all too happy to help them in their struggling quest to get to Potato Rock in one piece. Unfortunately, most of the inhabitants they meet are perversely stupid, useless, or mentally ill.
With brand-new music performed by long-time friend and first-time collaborator Ersatz Smile, This is Not the Autobahn begins production in early July and will begin to appear on the website slowly but surely in late summer. Be sure to stop back frequently for updates and other news of the project.
