The First Installment is Finally Here!
After a long delay, PfO is proud to present to you our latest project. This Is Not the Autobahn is a collaborative effort on the part of all four founding members of Plucked from Obscurity: Corri Lade, Nat J. Gruca, Liz Jackson, and Justin “No E” Milligan. Music by Ersatz Smile. Filmed on location in Fort Collins, Colorado over the course of just three days (all of which saw cloudy skies, exceptionally chill air, and lots and lots of rain).
The script was written whenever free time was found, many of the scenes being written mere hours before they were shot, some being scrapped altogether for improvised dialogue. If nothing else, we found This Is Not the Autobahn to be much less an actual movie and much more of one massive learning experience for all. Still, we did salvage a few good takes, and, binding them together, they are brought before you on the website today.
So without further ado, here, for your viewing pleasure, is Episode One of This Is Not the Autobahn. Please, share and enjoy.
